Becoming an organizational psychologist requires years of training, an ability to read human dynamics in depth, and judgment that is built over time.
The firm Shaffer | Organizational Psychologists was founded to support organizations with this cutting-edge expertise.

Founded by Maryse Shaffer, an organizational psychologist since 2008, the firm brings together professionals who are members of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. They share the same discipline and practice with the same rigor. They work while respecting each individual's professional autonomy and in the service of collective intelligence.
This is a rare choice in Quebec: a firm composed exclusively of organizational psychologists, offering the full range of services in the discipline throughout the province.
Our team is physically based in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, with affiliated collaborators present in Quebec City, Montreal, and the Laurentians. We support organizations, entrepreneurs, leaders, and teams throughout Quebec, as well as internationally on occasion, through remote intervention or on-site, depending on the context.
Understand better. Act better.
Our role is to highlight the development levers that allow for the achievement of individual and collective goals without burnout, without compromising values, and without losing sight of the human element.
We support individuals, teams, and organizational decision-makers in understanding their challenges and identifying transformative levers through the lens of work psychology.
Our vision is of organizations that recognize human complexity as a strategic lever and rely on organizational psychology to inform their decisions, strengthen their leadership, and build sustainable performance without losing sight of the human element.
We believe that any organization facing complex human challenges should have access to expertise in organizational psychology.
These guide our approach, our decisions, and the way we support individuals, teams, and organizations.
We seek the most accurate understanding before taking action. We take the time to grasp human and organizational dynamics so we can intervene with discernment, at the right time and at the right level.
We recognize the dignity, complexity, and uniqueness of every individual. We reject any approach that reduces, judges, or instrumentalizes people in the workplace.
We prioritize concrete, useful, and applicable interventions. Our recommendations account for real-world realities and aim for fair, realistic, and engaging actions that produce tangible, lasting results.
We provide a steady presence in complex and sensitive situations. We believe that a calm and secure space for reflection is essential to support sound, sustainable decision-making.
We advocate for clear-headed and mature accountability. We support leaders and organizations in taking ownership of their decisions and their human impact with consistency and integrity.
We aim to make organizational psychology accessible to everyone by meeting you where you are and helping you clarify your needs, guiding you toward solutions that bring you closer to your goals.
