Unspoken issues don't just disappear. They accumulate, harden, and eventually take a toll. We don't avoid them out of a lack of courage; we simply look for the right angle of approach or fear making a misstep.
Having courageous conversations isn't about confusing frankness with a lack of a filter, nor is it about believing that an open culture is enough to make difficult exchanges possible. Before you can say what really needs to be said, you must know how to prepare, identify the conditions for success, and feel secure enough to speak without fearing the consequences.
This training helps you understand what makes these moments so difficult and how to create the conditions to make them possible, without rigidity and without sacrificing the relationship.
Throughout the training, participants are invited to:
- Identify their own avoidance patterns through guided reflection on the conversations they are putting off and what is holding them back.
- Prepare simple phrasing that can be adapted to their own style to foster constructive exchanges, defuse tension, and manage the missteps that sometimes happen, whether we like it or not.
- Practice a difficult conversation in a contained, low-stakes environment to experiment with posture, adjust tone, and leave with concrete anchors that can be transferred to the workplace.
Chaque démarche est adaptée au contexte, aux personnes et aux enjeux rencontrés. Nous proposons également un service de formation et de conférence sur-demande, en lien avec notre expertise.
